I ran my 20th Boston Marathon and it was one of my strongest feeling Boston’s which I totally credit to the workouts I’ve been following with Endure Strong. Thank you Jared for putting together a great plan for me!
Team Endure Strong has been incredibly helpful to me. I was late getting into the running game, having played other sports in high school. I started running in college, but didn't really know how to approach training. I knew very little about nutrition for running, almost nothing about what workouts I should be doing to run faster and farther. With Team Endure Strong, I not only get those questions answered, but I get them answered by one of the top marathoners in the world. Jared has done an incredible job making information accessible and easy to understand. I never feel like he's talking down. He is sincerely interested in our successes and wants us to reach our potential as amateur runners. I could not be happier with how well Team Endure Strong has helped me. I have great experience with Team Endure Strong. I follow the coach and top Olympic marathon runner Jared Ward on Twitter and other social medias and when I find the news that Jared is coaching Team Endure Strong, without doubt, I joined the team. I am an Ironman and Boston Marathon Finisher. I have finished many marathons and two Ironman 70.3 and one Ironman. I have some personal experience on running and endurance sports, but I want to find out where my limit is. There are couple of things I enjoy with Team Endure Strong. I can select a suitable marathon plan to meet my personal goal, those plans are tailored by Coach Jared and Andrew with flexible length. The app is really a great tool to track your own performance and progress. It provides multiple point of views, and cover not only running but also other endurance sports like swimming and cycling. Most importantly, we have a live coach call with Jared every two-three weeks. Jared will cover different marathon training and racing topics from basic nutrition to running mental. He will answer our questions during the call. I would say this is the most important thing I like about Team Endure Strong. Jared provides many great running insights from his personal experience and knowledge, which helps me understand more about the marathon. Well, I ran the Salt Lake City Half Marathon today. Left my house bright and early with hopes and dreams to achieve goals A, B or C. Last year I ran this race in 2:08:11. My A goal was 2:04:00. At mile 11 I passed the pacer holding the 2:00 sign. I was very confused and thought that maybe she was having trouble haha. Then I realized I was the one that didn't stay on pace and getting a sub 2 was within arms reach! I felt so good that I decided to stay with that pace and see what happened. My official time is 1:58:00 Whaaat?! Thank you so much for helping me not only to achieve my goal but I felt so good and strong the entire time! I'm very happy with my effort and results! Since joining Team Endure Strong, my fitness and speed has gone to a new level. I've used many different training plans over the years and no training plan has got me more prepared for a marathon. Training with Jared and Andrew has been very rewarding as it's obvious they want to see you succeed in whatever no matter your goal. Once you join the team, you too will realize how special this team really is.
The best part of Team Endure Strong is having the experience and knowledge of a world class athlete to learn from. I have always done training programs from books and they lacked the “coach” experience. Jared is knowledgeable and very down to earth with his training techniques. He doesn’t teach anything extreme, unusual, or impossible to fit into my life. I have found the coaching calls to be extremely helpful and practical. It’s easy to immediately make adjustments to my training as I learn more from the coaching calls. Jared does his research!
